 Dr. Fathy Yassa "Yvent™ (pronounced "Event") Networks was founded to focus on delivering entertainment content for consumers on-the-go. The name Yvent™ stands for “Y Video Entertainment”. The letter Y with its 3 arms represents the key components in our offering: And, the Consumer is at the center of all. We define “on-the-go’ as a broad umbrella that includes mobile as a subset market. On-the-go content delivery includes WiFi hot spots, WiMax, 3G and DVB-H. The growth of WiFi deployment in the home and public, 3G and WiMAX network deployments put Yvent™ Networks technology in a unique position to deliver Audio and Video entertainment content powered by its unique delivery system  From our first day, we believe that personalized and portable entertainment is the next wave of consumer consumption.
